The Strength of a Name

I had this song stuck in my head all day yesterday. It's a great song! It's called "Blessed be the Name of the Lord." There are other versions on YouTube, but this was the only one I found that matches the speed we sing the song in church.

The song says "The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it, and they are safe." How true is that!

I actually changed the lyrics a bit yesterday. When it first got stuck in my head, I was singing the lyrics wrong. I was singing "The Word of the Lord is a strong tower. The weary run into it, and they are saved." I think that's true too, though the change was completely unintentional! Whenever we are weary, we can run to God and His Word, and we will be safe.

So, today I just wanted to share a song that's been stuck in my head. I hope you enjoy!
