Declaration Seven

The point of the 8 Declarations is that we have to be careful of our words and speak only ones that bring life.

Declaration 7:

I declare that I will store up blessings for future generations.

I think this is one that might confuse some people. Blessings aren't just monetary. Storing up blessings for future generations includes so much more: freedoms, wildlife, natural resources, etc.

Now, I'm not going to make this post about conservation (though I'm thinking about doing one) but it's important to remember that we have to preserve the earth for future generations. I think the greatest blessings we can store up are these: the freedom to worship God in safety, and the beauty of the earth God created.

Proverbs 13:22 - A good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children, but a sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous.

Declare first that you will serve God; follow through on this promise. Then, make the 7 declarations. Speak these things aloud so that it will travel from your lips to God's ear.
