Romans 5:3-4 - Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Basically, suffering produces hope through several smaller steps. Suffering has its purpose. Though painful, we should try to find joy in our sufferings because at the end of it, we will be stronger. Often, only trials can teach us life lessons we so desperately need to mold us into who we are meant to be.
Sometimes it is difficult to see the end of our suffering, but hold on to hope. Things will change, and it will get better. Remember to lean on God, and let Him know what is going on. He, and He alone, can give us peace to endure our sufferings.
