Today, the day before Thanksgiving, as I sit watching old episodes of Army Wives, I find myself thankful for my freedoms. Yesterday I was thankful for the freedom from sin we have through Jesus Christ, our Savior.
Today, I am thankful not only for that freedom, but also the ones we have in America. I am thankful for the freedom to worship God, the freedom to gather together, the freedom to get an education, the freedom to use that education, and the many others.
I am also thankful for those who dedicate their lives to protecting our freedoms and the freedoms of those who live elsewhere. For all those who fight to defend us, both at home and abroad, both military and civilian, I give thanks to God. I pray for their safety, and that they will put their trust in God.
