Thankfulness, Day 4

Today is day 4 of the "week before Thanksgiving" thankfulness posts.

Today I am thankful for my church. I am glad that God led me to them just when I really needed them. I am thankful that they are all so nice, and that they were so welcoming, especially since I was terrified that first day.

There are still weeks when I don't want to go for some reason (I'm tired,  I have things to do, etc.) but I'm thankful that I have a church to go to. I'm also thankful that God provides ways for me to get to church, no matter what.

Today, since it's Thanksgiving week, we sang songs of thanksgiving. We sang praises to God this morning, and it was wonderful. The first one we sang was "This is the day the Lord has made." 

It says "I will enter his gates with thanksgiving in my heart..."

Normally, I'd match that song with the verse it's pulled from, but I'm going to save that verse for another post.

It's been really fun finding all these verses about thanksgiving, and I can't wait to find more!
